It is combined with moong lentils, ground coconut, cumin, yogurt and curry leaves to form its delicious gravy Add a little water to adjust the consistency of the chow chow Poricha Kootu. Check the salt levels and adjust to suit your taste. Chow chow or banglore kathirikai kootu is an accompaniment for any south indian gravy like sambar,rasam,vethakozhambu or milagu kozhambu especially with the ones when ther is no dal in the main gravy.
